Minor roots from 6–40 ft get cleared by Flexshaft on liner day — no separate pre-job needed. Laundry tie-in at 2 ft is fully protected by the remote start section, which gets cut out after cure — no reinstatement required. Two mild 22.5° bends at each end of the run, no concerns. HEADS UP — INSTALL TEAM ATTENTION None ADDITIONAL NOTES • Install team: Confirm clay pipe size after the cast iron section before pulling liner. Usually 6" but occasionally 4" or 5" — quick check saves a wasted liner. • Tie-in at 2 ft (laundry): remote start covers 0–4 ft. Clog Dog cuts it out post-cure. Tie-in stays fully open — no reinstatement needed. • Liner footage corrected from 62 LF (as proposed) to 66 LF — full run billed from cleanout.

Customer info looks clean. Let me dig into the pipe layout and scope.
A couple things to sort out before I can give you a verdict:
1. The proposed scope says liner from 4' to 66' (62 LF) — but there's a laundry tie-in at 2 ft. If the liner starts at 4 ft, the remote start covers 0–4 ft including that tie-in. After curing, the Clog Dog cuts the remote start out, leaving the tie-in at 2 ft fully open. That's actually a clean outcome — no reinstatement needed. **But the correct liner footage is 66 LF** (full run from the cleanout), not 62 LF. The remote start material costs money and the full footage is what gets billed. Just want to confirm you're good with that before I write the ticket.
2. What's the access type? Floor cleanout, stack, pit — and if it's a cleanout, is it a sweep or inline?

Perfect. Got everything I need.
One note before the ticket: the proposed scope had 62 LF — I've corrected that to 66 LF. Remote start covers 0–4 ft, Clog Dog cuts it out after cure, tie-in at 2 ft stays fully open. Clean outcome, no reinstatement needed. Bill the full 66 ft.
The 22.5° bends are mild and well-positioned (one near the start, one near the end). No flags on those. Minor roots from 6–40 ft are well within Flexshaft range and get cleared on liner day — standard prep.
On liner selection: this is a 4"→6" transition run. Two good options:
**Option A — Stretch liner:** Single pull, handles the 4"→6" transition on its own. Recommended given the transition — confirm exact footage add-on percentage with the install team lead before ordering.
**Option B — Scrim + transition liner:** The 4" section is 6 ft, the 6" section is 60 ft. Looking at Marvel's transition liner stock, the **15/85/3** fits (15 ft ≥ 6 ft of 4", 85 ft ≥ 60 ft of 6") but has significant overage on both ends. The **12/60/3** is the tighter fit — 12 ft ≥ 6 ft of 4", 60 ft = 60 ft of 6" — right at the edge on the 6" side. Recommend adding a couple feet of buffer for the bend pullback at 60 ft, so **15/85/3** is the safer call if going scrim route.
